I’ve been loving this taupe series–there is something about a wash of taupe on the eyelid that looks effortless and chic. I also find that when using taupe colors, I’m finished my makeup in record time.

Twenty-Two Days of Taupe: Day 8 & OOTD

Today’s taupe look is a bit more on the warmer side. Most of the colors used were from the Urban Decay Naked Palette. Believe it or not, this is my first time doing a taupe look with my Naked palette and I’ve owned this palette since July 2010!!!! Shame on me!

On a side note, I can’t tell you how much I’ve been diggin’ my berets! I only own three–very typical neural colors (to go with everything) but I think I may venture into different color ones–they are simply fabulous. Ugh–I can’t get enough!

Quick outfit of the day–I’ve been into rockin’ a sweater and jeans lately–my comfy glam look-lol! It’s been so cold–who feels like dressing to the nines in this weather? Spring, where are you? O_o

The beret is from Forever 21, sweater is from Old Navy, jeans are from Forever 21.

My necklaces are from Charlotte Russe & my boots are from eBay. (*insert cheesy pose & smile in*) *lol* I LOVE these boots and need to get a new heel since I’ve worn these heels out.

Today today’s taupe look is a little more on the “dirty” side. Dirrrrty Taupe! *lol*
The colors were a little muddy but I still think it was a nice look–and it matched my sweater! See? *lol* Please don’t mind the messy updo. It’s been in the low 30′s and completely dreary out–I haven’t felt much like “dressing” up–it’s been comfy with a touch of glam for me :)

Two words-Taupe overload! In a tasteful way that is :)

I recently bought this shirt from Forever 21–it’s a cook toned taupe shirt with silvery sequins on it. For some reason I think this shirt looks fabulous with brown knee high boots.

Hi Dolls! I wish you all a very happy & healthy new year!

This is my last post of 2011 and I’ve gotta say, I can’t wait to begin a new year–so much to look forward to!

Yesterday I wanted to get really glammed up. This outfit is also known as my “If I had a social life or party to attend, I’d wear this” outfit. But you know me, I’m the type to glam it up to the grocery store-lol

Here is a quick breakdown of the outfit. Lots of black & a bit of gold. Golden black smokey eye using MAC’s Tempting. I forgot how flattering that color is.

Today  in day 2 of this taupe series, I used my favorite eye shadow–EVER!!!!!!! There are NO words to describe my eternal love for Sunnydaze pigment by MAC. I really hope they re-promote this pigment as I’ve only got tiny samples of this wonderful pigment.
