Haircare Routine

Saturday, April 10th, 2010

Recently I’ve changed my bedtime beauty routine. I used to just take off my make up , wash my face & throw up my hair. Lately I have incorporated a nightly hair care routine and I’m using an amazing overnight repair treatment for my hair called L’Oreal EverStrong.

What I love about this cream is that it quickly absorbs into my hair and does not leave any sort of residue on my hands. The product does not weigh down my hair not does it leave it greasy. It also has a pleasant smell. My hair feels softer and my ends don’t feel as coarse as they usually would feel.  I contemplated spending $29 on a Frederic Fekkai overnight treatment cream but I thought it would make more sense to try out the L’Oreal version for only $7.99! I also recently fell in love with my Tresemme Shine Spray-it’s made my dull hair smooth and oh so shiny.

I’m also using a new shampoo/ conditioner by Tresemme; it’s part of their anti-breakage line. I’ve used it once already and have seen results! When I ran the comb through my wet hair, strands didn’t snap! My hair even seems a bit fuller too…I hope this is the start of something good!

Philosophy’s Cinnamon Buns

I love how Philosophy’s bath products are 3 in 1 – you can use them as a bubble bath, shower gel & a shampoo. I prefer to use the product as a shower gel and bubble bath.  A little goes a long way  when using it as a shower gel and it lathers up really well.

With the holidays just around the corner, my favorite flavor to use for the Fall season is: Cinnamon Buns. It smells like an actual cinnamon bun. The smell is authentic, not overly sweet and fake like some scents can be.  What I love best about it? It’s a guilt free way to enjoy a cinnamon bun!
