Giving in to Temptation…

Back in January I bought a pair of Chanel Sunglasses-the Chanel 5171 sunglasses to be exact. They were a splurg item and although I was very happy to buy them, I thought it would be best to put them away for Mother’s Day or my birthday. For a few months, I did quite well…I’d stare at the pretty black Chanel bag and go about my business…

Today, I don’t know what came over me-maybe it was the beautiful weather? All I knew is that I HAD TO BUST THOSE GLASSES OUT TODAY! My darling husband Jim, the enabler, thought it would be best as well. So one month prior to Mother’s Day & my birthday-I, Nancy Valentino, gave into the temptation that is Chanel.

A Little Chanel

Thanks to my Twitter buddy, Debbie, I couldn’t help but want these beautiful Chanel sunglasses. She did a post on these sunglasses and I was in love. I am usually not the type to run out and buy something so expensive however, these glasses fit my personality so much. They are sleek & oversized and have elegant little white bows on them-I had to have them! Chanel is a such a timeless & classic brand and I know that these sunglasses are going to be one of those items that I will NEVER get tired of. They will go with most any outfit & can be worn all season. I’m in love.
