Now that I’ve gotten this whole caviar mani down, I’ve decided to get a bit more creative by merging two of my favorite nails trends–the caviar mani & the half moon.
A few more steps involved in this one but it’s super simple to do!

Now that I’ve gotten this whole caviar mani down, I’ve decided to get a bit more creative by merging two of my favorite nails trends–the caviar mani & the half moon.
A few more steps involved in this one but it’s super simple to do!
What you’ll need:
-a plate (although it’s easy, it’s a little messy)
-a mini teaspoon of some sort to pour the beads on the nails
-nail polish of your choice
-microbeads of your choice
Today I’m going for a “pink candied” look. White polish and hot pink micobeads. Super fun to wear in the Spring & Summer months!

I used two coats of NYC nail polish in white…

Pour beads onto the nail and make sure to cover the entire nail…

Pat down very lightly so the beads have something to stick to…

Clean up was fairly easy. I poured the beads from the plate to a mini bowl then into a mini funnel…

Top coat is optional. I recommend using one as long as the polish and beads are the same color. If not, the color of the beads will bleed a bit and be noticeable on a light colored polish like white.

The final result…

I say it every year–the holidays FLEW by.
I wanted to do a little blog post on a few beauty goodies that I received from Santa
My dear friend Nichole and I exchanged Christmas gifts–she got me these fabulous nail polishes. Two of these polishes are from Nicole by OPI’s Kardashian nail polish line. I fell in love with Khloe had a Little Lam Lam –funny name but the color is a rich emerald–so pretty. The other one is called My Empire…My Rules–it’s taupe so it’s right up my alley! And the last one is called Step Right Up–this is the one I think I’ll used all year round-this color is just classic.

I’ve been wanting the Olay Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System for a while now. I hear that it’s an inexpensive alternative to the Clarasonic. I’ve used it twice and really like the way it makes my skin feel. I hope I see some positive results!

My husband asked me to pick out a few little accessories, put them in an online cart and walk away from the computer *lol* Of course I acted surprised Christmas morning! It’s literally impossible to shop for me so I like the method my hubby and use when shopping for one another. I’ve been into geometric shaped jewelry and triangular earrings lately.
One of the things I love about Forever 21 is the fact that they make incredible vintage inspired pieces like the silver dangle earrings pictured below.
You’ll also noticed the little Coca-Cola mini polar bear! Since I was a child, I’ve always loved the holiday commercials with the little Coca-cola polar bears. One day we were in the grocery store and saw these cute little guys–my daughter bought this one for me. I will always cherish it.

Last up is something I’ve been wanting since I was a little kid–the board game, Operation!!! I thought this would be a fun game for my husband and I to play one evening when we’re bored!

Have a fabulous week!

So today was pretty chill-I threw on my comfiest outfit and went to the mall to pick up a few tops from Charlotte Russe that are going to come in handy for future shoots as well as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day & my birthday. I also painted my nails a bright & festive pink color for Valentine’s Day. I paired OPI’s “Got a date to-knight” & “Princesses Rule”.

Today I did a simple smoky eyed matte look using my Too Faced Natural Eye Neutral Palette, Laura Geller Liquid Candlelight & MAC’s Underage.

I got my bangs cut this past week too-I was in desperate need of a trim. I’m still getting used to how short they are now! Ahh!

Hope you all have a fabulous week.
xo, Nancy
