You know I had to do the corny screen shot a lot of others have been using when doing this tag. I guess you can say I’m channeling my inner Aria? *lol* I’ve been lacking with OOTD post but that’s because I’ve been under the weather a bit–blah. Hope to get an OOTD post up tomorrow. Enjoy the tag!! xo
You all know I’m obsessed with the smokey eye/ nude lip combo but I’m equally as obsessed with red lipsticks too. Here are some of the red lip products that I currently own.
From Left to Right: Revlon Fire Lipgloss, Stila Hugs Lip Glaze, Elf Lip Stain in Red Carpet, NYX Silver Plum, MAC Runaway Red, MAC Russian Red, MAC Viva Glam Cyndi, Revlon Cherries in the Snow, Revlon Fire & Ice, Revlon True Red, MAC Lip Pencil in Brick
I don’t have many red lip products in my collection but I do have enough to differentiate between seasons. When you think about it, there are so many tones & undertones to a lip gloss and lipstick. here are some of the red lipglosses and lipsticks that I own.
Now for the messy part…swatches…
From Left to Right: Revlon Fire Lipgloss, Stila Hugs Lip Glaze, Elf Lip Stain in Red Carpet, NYX Silver Plum, MAC Runaway Red, MAC Russian Red, MAC Viva Glam Cyndi, Revlon Cherries in the Snow, Revlon Fire & Ice, Revlon True Red, MAC Lip Pencil in Brick (on top)
My husband took this piccy while we were messing around but I think you can see the highlight color on my cheekbone so I decided to use it
I decided it’d be easier to do a separate makeup post…too much going on today to make into one blog post that made any sense. Click here to see the full OOTD:
Hi All! I hope you remembered to turn your clocks forward…I could have used that extra hour today. I packed a lot on my plate and I’m struggling to find the time to do everything that’s on my itinerary.
Currently as I write this, we are doing our first BBQ of the season…just weeks away from the Spring season, I’m BBQ’ing some fabulous Medittarian burgers–figure friendly, of course
The weather reached the low 60′s and was simply fabulous…took a drive to the mall.
Here is a pictures of that cute little Christmas ornament that I hauled from Forever 21 a few weeks ago…makes a cute charm for my Bimmer…
While I was driving, my husband snapped these shots…I’m so used to seeing all the horse & buggy’s on the road now, though I’ll never get used to the smell here in the country! I adore driving by the horses, cows, sheep & goats. Here is a little bit of the country…
Is this an OOTD post, a Twenty-Two Days of Taupe post? Who knows? As I said, I packed a lot on my plate today AND also tried to squeeze a video in…still have to go through the footage to see if it’s usable–why oh why did I pack too much into today?
I suppose I’ll leave the makeup for another post and give you a breakdown of today’s outfit of the day…
This refreshing salad is a must have for me during these beautiful Spring & Summer months! I enjoy it for lunch & dinner and eat it a variety of different ways.
This full recipe including nutritional information & other tasty compliments to this salad can be found here in my eCookbook, The figure Friendly Foodie’s Guide to Eating, Volume One.

My apologies–this video is a lot longer than I had originally expected but I wanted to be as thorough as possible. I adore all of these products and I’m so happy that I’ve found a routine that works for me. I hope you find this video helpful and are able to incorporate some of my “must haves” into your own skin care routine.
Hello all my beautiful readers! Today I bring you another look in my Twenty-Two Days of Taupe series. I used my Physician’s Formula Nude palette. I’ve heard people compare this to the Naked 2 palette, however, I just don’t agree. The Naked 2 Palette is easy to work with and the pigmentation is up to par whereas the PF Nude palette is not very pigmented and you have to really build up the color using primer and a good base. This is my second time working with this palette and I was very pleased with how this look came together. Last time I did not use a base and the colors looked very muddy.
I’ve found a great base that compliments this palette so I’m very certain I will get a lot of use out of this little gem! For my outfit of the day…I went simple chic-I wore a black blazer with a black cami, over-sized pearls, skinny jeans and platform black pumps. See? Simple Chic! *lol*
Here is a breakdown of today’s look:

My daily diet habits reflect the season–if it’s hot out, I eat light. If it’s bitterly cold out, I tend to eat comfort foods. The weather has been slightly warmer lately and it very reminiscent of Spring which gets my taste buds in the mood for lighter food and more vibrant colors on my plate. Here’s a few of the many fresh Spring inspired meals that I’ve been loving. Like my eCookbook, all of these meals were personally created by myself.
