Happy New Year!
These are some new goodies I picked up last month. You may have seen certain things in a previous blog post….thanks for watching! In the next few days, I’ll be working on Day 5 of Twenty-Two Days of Taupe 
I went to the Mall yesterday to pick up a few more ditties for my
lovely friend Katrina.I was hoping to find some cute statement
necklaces but they has NOTHING great–everything was so tacky–overly
“knotted” or overly feather’d-ugh. I did manage to get some cute
pieces though…I bought us some matching earrings 
I’ve really been into post earrings lately–I quite like the oversized ones.
Especially these turquoise and silver ones from Forever 21–they look
very vintage.
I’ve been obsessed with cobalt blue and fell in love with these
delicate little pear shaped earrings. You don’t see this color every
day–these look faux sapphire in the photo but in the light, they’re
very much cobalt.
I’ve always wanted oversized pearls with little diamond accents on
them–the bows & faux diamonds look so feminine and posh.
These pink floral earrings looked quite unique to me. I’ve never seen
anything like them–I love the delicate pearls that help to detail the
flower.
These immediately caught my eye–the faux emerald cut gems–red &
pinks–can be used for a holiday party or Valentine’s Day!

Today I wore a cute little sundress & my favorite wedge sandals to the mall. Since it was so hot and humid, I didn’t even bother to curl my hair or wear it out–side swept bun all the way, baby!!! *lol*
I love these kinds of sundresses–I have four of them in various colors that I bought from Forever 21 about three years ago! I think thy look fab with flip flops or dressed up with some wedges like I have on today. To give it that “little something”, I wore antiqued embellished earrings just so I didn’t look bald–haha–I always feel as thought I look a little bald when I wear an updo!
For makeup–I rocked a light green antiqued brown eye, bronzed faced & nudey pink lips.

You may have seen me wear this floral skirt a bunch of times already–I totally believe if you’re going to buy a piece of clothing-WEAR IT! *lol* I love the versatility I get when wearing this skirt–I can wear it with so many camis in my collection–pink, yellow, purple and so on…Today I paired this skirt with a dark green cami and a gold rosette necklace.

Hi Everyone! I wanted to do a quick post on my outfit from yesterday. I recently bought the top from Forever 21. Usually I’m not into shirts that are loose fitting but I found it worked perfectly paired with a pair of form fitting leggings & knee high boots.
It does NOT take a lot of money to look like a fashionista-everything I’m wear in this pic is very affordable. The leggings were a steal at $6.00 from Target. I believe the sweater was only $14.80 from Forever 21. I LOVE the sequins on the top…so chic! The boots are from Charlotte Russe. I bought a tan pair too-I wear these boots 90% of the time. They are soooo comfy.
…and the earrings?! They are wayyyyyy old. *lol* I got them about 7 years ago at Express! I was obsessed with dangle-style earrings then the obsession faded. Now it’s back and I’m in love with those earrings-again. I see that chandelier earrings are making a come back!
I wish I would have gotten a picture of the makeup-I used all MAC products on my eyes. I have a new favorite smokey eye color. It’s actually more of a borderline obsession! *lol* I’ll have to do a blog post on this makeup look in the next few weeks.
I’m thinking this outfit is calling my name on New Years Eve! We shall see….

Today’s outfit was very comfortable & chill. I am absolutely loving this new cream cardigan that I bought from Forever 21.
I paired today’s outfit with my large silver key necklace & two silver bracelets from Tiffany’s. Since my necklace was rather large, I wore small stud earrings. I don’t wear small earrings much these days but I love these because I adore bows!
For shoes, I went super comfortable with my tan Emu’s…ahh…like walking on marshmallows! Although, I prefer my Uggs.
As for makeup, I did a golden & bronzey smokey eye and a peachy pink lip. The pictures don’t really show the true color of the makeup. The camera made the eye shadows look a bit more darker than they actually are. However, I think it was a nice contrast with my navy colored cami-the colors compliment each other quite nicely.

Yesterday I was watching Gossip Girl. After seeing Blake Lively’s sleek high ponytail, I was inspired. It’s rare to see me without my hair down. I prefer some type of curly do’ but I really like the simplicity of the sleek ponytail. I tried it out today and it thought it was just ok. It looks stunning on other celebs like Blake but for me? Meh. It was convenient for today because it was thirty-something degrees out & very windy. I wouldn’t wear my hair like this again unless I had super long extensions or until my own hair grows super long.
I thought this was worth posting to show you all my cute little blye heart shaped ear muffs. I called every Forever 21 in the area looking for these little guys. Finally I gave up and ordered them online. Yes, I’m well aware that I’m 26 and these look like something for a three year old! However, I think a glamour gal like myself rocks these well. *lol*
