I was inspired by a skirt to create this look. I thought it would be fun to being out the teal/ aqua pattern of the skirt. I hope you enjoy this tutorial!

You all know I’m obsessed with the smokey eye/ nude lip combo but I’m equally as obsessed with red lipsticks too. Here are some of the red lip products that I currently own.

A few days ago I watched a movie called “We’ll Take Manhattan” based on the relationship between photographer, David Bailey and model Jean Shrimpton. I had heard of Jean before but I never knew the background and story of how both Jean and David Bailey help mold the 1960′s youth movement.
Jean appeared on magazine covers like Vogue (the photos taken in 1962 are iconic), Harper’s Bazaar, and Vanity Fair and was known as “The Face of the 60′s” and helped launch the mini skirt!
Is there anything better than taupe eye shadow? No. Here is a look at my collection and some of them may sound familiar (as I’ve probably used some of them in my Twenty-Two Days of Taupe series)

Hello Lover. I’m telling you–this lipstick has to be the best Viva Glam lipstick that MAC Cosmetics has EVER produced. I think it looks fabulous on my NW20 skintone. Viva Glam Nicki is a Bright Yellow Pink color that takes on a vibrant mango pink on my lips. LOVEEEEEEEEE. This is going to be my #1 go to lip color this Summer. I want to get another tube as a backup when my birthday rolls around in May 
Below you will see an OOTD. For my makeup, I played it safe since I don’t have many bright colors in my winter wardrobe. I paired this lipstick with a very warm & neutral brown smokey eye. It came out better than I expected–it compliments the lipstick perfectly. I am planning on getting some more vibrant colors to add to my Summer wardrobe JUST so I can rock this lipstick more!

I’ve got to admit, I’m loving the Urban Decay Naked2 Palette, this is one of many looks I’ve come up with. This look is more on the dramatic side but I will be doing more subtle toned down looks with the Naked2 Palette in the future.
