Here is another look in my Holiday Beauty Video Series. My inspiration? My Golden Taupe Pumps!!!!
PS-These shoes are hella comfy!

Here is a look I wore a lot in the month of October. I hope you enjoy this one!

Today was one of those days…dreary and ridiculously cold out–an all black kind of day.

A few nights ago I was playing around with a few of my Barry M Dazzle Dusts and created this beautiful purple color with no. 89 which is called Oyster Grey. A lovely color grayish purple on it’s own, under NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil in Cottage cheese, it looked like a duo chrome purple. I tried capturing this on camera but I couldn’t get the effect to show up on the camera.
Here’s a breakdown of today’s makeup:
EYES
-UDPP
-NYX Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencil in Cottage Cheese
-Barry M Dazzle Dust in No.89 (Oyster Grey)
-Wet n’ Wild Lust Palette (the gray color, lightest shimmery color & darkest shimmery color in palette)
-Urban Decay Star Dust Eye Shadow in Retrograde
-Yves Rocher Cristal Pigment
-Feline Kohl Power
-Cover Girl Last Blast
LIPS:
-Smashbox Lip Gloss in Pout
-NYX Chandelier Lip Gloss

-NARS Copacabana Illuminator

Yes, I know…what a creative title. *lol* I was experimenting with a few colors today and came up with this fantastic makeup look! I thought it went perfectly with my shirt & statement necklace.

I’ve really been into using dark bases instead of my usual Bare Study paint pot and I’ve gotta say-I’ve been LOVING the results!

Here’s a breakdown of today’s FOTD:

I’m not really a person that likes to dress up in costumes and go to Halloween parties but I still like to show my Halloween pride. Here is a look you can rock that’s Halloween appropriate –a nice change from your traditional black or brown smokey eyes!
Here’s how you can get the look:
Yesterday I opted to do an all black outfit–chic & comfortable but I didn’t want to do a black smokey eye–it would have been mega overkill.

I wanted a pop of color so I opted for a deep plummy purple smokey eye–I think this look is appropriate eye makeup for Halloween–well for me at least–no parties or special events for me (other than taking my mini out trick or treating
)-honestly though, it’s that perfect deep purple you see in Halloween inspired items. Here’s a breakdown…

EYES:
-Sleek Bad Girl Palette (the deep purple)
-MAC Bat Black Cream Color Base
-MAC Painterly Paint Pot
-Stila Smudge Pot in Black
-MAC Circa Plum Pigment
-NARS Night Fever Eye Shadow
-MAC Vanilla Eye Shadow
-CoverGirl Lash Blast in Black
-MAC Feline Kohl Power
FACE:
-NARS Laguna Bronzer
-Benefit High Beam
-Coty Airspun
LIPS:
-MAC Good Times Lip Glass
Hope you’re all enjoying the weekend!
…xoxo

I love wearing neutral colors and solid prints then accenting the outfit with pops of color. I’ve been into using my eye makeup and shoes as accessories & pops of color lately.
For makeup, I used the Too Faced Smokey Eye Shadow collection-I had been DYING to use the blueberry toned colors in the palette but never knew what to accent them wtih–then I saw those royal blue shoes–and viola!
*Insert cheesy (obviously fake smile) picture of me holding the heel of my shoe*

An Autumn inspired makeup tutorial that’s very wearable day or night. Thanks for watching.

Rockin’ the bold lip has become almost daily for me. Today’s bold lip? Revlon’s Cherries in the Snow-again
A simple unstated elegant eye look and a pop of color in the lips–perfection!

“A truly elegant taste is generally accompanied with excellency of heart….”

Today’s post is on Revlon’s Cherries in the Snow. It’s a lipstick with
a lot of history behind it. You can see my video on Timeless & Classic
Beauty Products here. I talk a little bit about the rich history
behind it.
I recently wore it for the first time and I have to tell you, it’s not
what I expected the color to be however, I *really* liked it. It’s a
deep pink/ red that almost comes off fuchsia on the lips.I think it’s
a great color to rock in the Fall season. I paired it with a very
neutral mid tone brown eye–it’s a FAB combo. I may be doing a tutorial
on this look soon…

On a side note, I’m really into updos-it’s quick and easy plus I don’t have to worry about meticulously curl every strand of my very long hair-haha! I guess you can call this a simple low chignon? Whatever you call it, it feel super elegant and I loved it.

Overall, I really like the lipstick, it had great staying power for
being a “drugstore” lipstick. I’ve got to tell you, I’ve REALLY been
into Revlon lately…I’m loving it as much as I adore MAC–it’s a
great thing–especially for my wallet.
