A Trip to the Carnival

We took my beautiful princess to the carnival for the 1st time yesterday. The weather was fabulous and my baby had a great time. The little girl is fearless. She’s not scared of heights like I am! I took the picture above of my daughter and husband up in the ferris wheel. I think it captures the moment beautifully.

Some of the fun we had…

As for attire, I went for simple, comfy but still a little glam! I put my hair up in a chill “bohemian” low updo.

I wore wedges–they look rather uncomfortable but looks can be deceiving–they were perfectly fine to walk around in. I truly love my shoe finds at Payless. I wanted to rock some kind of accessory but since we were going to be walking around a lot, I thought it would be nice to wear a shirt that had a decorative statement design. All I had to do was add earrings and I felt glam!

Teal & Aqua Makeup: My Brightest Makeup Look to Date!

I was inspired by a skirt to create this look. I thought it would be fun to being out the teal/ aqua pattern of the skirt. I hope you enjoy this tutorial!

Big Hair & A Pop of Yellow

Hi All–

Quick OOTD post–nothing entirely special. This post is mainly about the yellow scarf I’m rockin’ in the photos below. I’m obsessed with scarves–especially oversized ones. In my opinion, this scarf just adds a touch of glam to an an otherwise boring outfit (white racerback & khaki shorts–does it get much more boring?)

I added taupe sandals & these earrings! I love these disco ball earrings! The colors in the earring are dead on and match the scarf perfectly!

As for hair–it’s big and I love it. This hairstyle is an acquired taste that has been highly requested on my YouTube channel.  However, I’m on the fence on doing a full tutorial on it. Everyone always says that most of these YouTube beauty gurus are all alike in terms of their style & hair dos yet when a guru tries to be a bit different with her style, sometimes people feel the need to put them down.

Style is very subjective and it’s all about feeling beautiful and being confident.

What’s the saying? Haters gonna hate? Yeah.

I kept the makeup very simple going with my HG eye shadow–MAC Sunnydaze pigment! :)

Overall, I love the balance of the form fitting tee & shorts, the big comfy scarf & the big hair. Very balanced and super chic! The perfect outfit to rock when you’re going out for ice cream with the family! :)

Mother’s Day Makeup & OOTD

I had a fabulous Mother’s Day with my beautiful family yesterday. We spent some time in Maryland–did a little shopping at LUSH & Sephora. I actually did a vlog which I plan on getting up tomorrow!

As you can see from today’s OOTD, you don’t NEED a ton of name brands/ labels to feel like a million dollars! I felt 110% fabulous in my “mall” brand outfit!

Minty OOTD & Twenty-Two Days of Taupe: Day 18

Hello Everyone! I am back with another taupe makeup look–and an outfit of the day post. I absolutely love this mint green blazer–it’s that perfect pastel green for Spring. Whenever I look at it, I feel super inspired to wear the blazer with a silvery taupe eye but always talk myself out of it.

Today I decided to give the silvery taupe eye/ mint green blazer a go and I’m quite pleased with how it came out. I wanted to break out my beloved Modalu Pippa bag BUT it was raining all day so I took a nude bag out instead.

For hair, I went with a sleek & high bun–you can’t go wrong with a blazer and sleek updo–soooo chic.

Here is a breakdown of the makeup:

Earthy Bohemian Blues

Ever had one of those days where it’s too cool for a sundress but too warm for pants? Yeah–that was my issue today and to top it off, I was getting some ink touched up so I needed my collar bone exposed. I also needed my hair back–to balance out the whole look, I added a scarf so I didn’t look too exposed.

I am LOVING this peacock scarf that I got from eBay. It has beautiful earth tones that go well with most items in my Summer wardrobe. As you can see, the dress is hella mini!

I did this beautiful messy “bohemian” inspired bun with a few braids. It was super easy to do, very voluminous & the perfect hairstyle to rock in humid weather.

The final look–complete with my new nude handbag! (I was in a rush today so as you can tell, these photos are a bit on the candid side!)

Overall, a fun & adventurous day!

Spring is in the Air

At last! A beautiful day here in Central Pennsylvania…I thought it would be nice to do an OOTD–it’s been awhile….

The main focus of today’s look is the scarf. I am LOVING scarves right now (like you couldn’t tell in every other video–I do love my skull scarves). Scarves are a great way to extend your wardrobe. I’m wearing a white short sleeved blazer, a yellow cami & the floral scarf. I’ve owned the blazer, cami and jeans for many seasons and here I am, 4 years later, still rockin’ them proudly!

As you can see, I could add another different colored cami and still get a few more looks using this one scarf. Today I emphasized the yellow but the possiblities are endless!

This fabulous scarf is from eBay and only was about $4.00–gotta love deals like that!
