Casual in Coral
Summertime has to be my all time favorite season because of all the versatile looks you can put together-especially when you’re wearing a dress. I pretty much wear dresses 95% of the time when it’s warm out. Today I wore a coral colored casual dress with brown sandals & a brown Louis Vuitton Damier Ribera Mini bag.
For me, it’s all about comfortability and looking chic at the same time!
For makeup, I created a golden brown smokey eye using a combination of Stila’s Puurfect Eye palette & Urban Decay’s Get Baked palette. For cheeks, I used a bronzer & lips-MAC’s lipglass in Purr. I think this look is perfect for the summer time because of the golden browns & coral.

Beauty Marked & Loving It.
I decided to do a post exclusively on an eye shadow that I bought a few weeks ago. It’s quickly become one of my “must haves” and I adore it!
I have been particular smitten “Beauty Marked” by MAC. It’s a gorgeous black-red color that looks almost like a blackberry color when applied. It’s a beautiful yet refreshing change to the standard black smokey eye.

Beachy Waves & A Pop of Color
The weather has been absolutely amazing! Warm & sunny- just the way I like it. I thought it would be appropriate to do a chill beachy wave look in my hair. I’ve read that sea salt spray is is a great way to help to get that beachy look so I decided to get a bottle. I did not have any luck finding some at the stores and I did not want to buy a bottle online, pay shipping (yadda, yadda, yadda!). So I thought to myself-”why don’t you make your own sea salt spray?”
My homemade sea salt spray came out pretty well. I sprayed it on my hair before using my Revlon Barrel Waver…(such crazy looking hair tool!!)
These were the results I got from this crazy looking thing-
I was quite happy with how my hair came out and I’m sure I will be wearing this hairstyle a lot in the coming months.
Along with this summery hairstyle, I thought it would be oh so appropriate to do a beachy theme on my eyes. There is only one palette that I use more than any other during the summer months and that’s the Urban Decay Get Baked Palette.
The beautiful gold and bronze colors compliment the bright intense blue color, Flipside, quite nicely. I must admit that it took me a while to get used to the ever so vibrant, Flipside. This is the look I came up with:
If you would like my “recipe” for sea salt spray, comment below and let me know!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
