This, That & The Other….

Hey Everyone!

So, I had a busy few days! We finally moved into our brand spankin’ new condo! I’m in love. This is by far the best place I have ever lived. I have added a few pics from the last few days. Things are finally starting to calm down a bit now-whew! I had to turn down some photo shoot opportunities on the account of the move but I hope to be more active with the modeling because I really DO enjoy it.

I recently started to post more makeup related videos on my YouTube Channel (www.youtube.com/NancyValentino) I’ll probably upload those same videos on this site too.

My Latest Obsession: Urban Decay’s Get Baked Palette

So, I got the Urban Decay Get Baked palette for my birthday and I LOVE it. The colors are so highly pigmented and perfect for summer. For $28.00, you get 4 beautiful colors, an eye liner & a mini size of their newest primer potion in Sin. I knew I would love these shadows; I’m partial to bronzey, golden colors so I knew this would be perfect for me. I was a bit nervous about the turquoise color, Flipside. I usually do not wear bright colored shadows but I played around with it and came up with the perfect way to wear Flipside. These eye shadows stayed on all day and didn’t crease. I swear by my UDPP (it even works perfectly with my drugstore brand e/s). I highly recommend that you try out this palette!

My Favorite Summer Lotions of ’09

Okay, so I am the type of girl that cannot use one product every single day-it’s repetitive and boring so I try to use a few different products at a time so I don’t get sick of them! : )

I am in love with The Body Shop’s Coconut Milk Lotion! This scent screams summer! It’s a subtle scent that is most definitely not overpowering; it leaves my skin so smooth. Another thing I like about this is the fact that you can spray it on.

Another lotion that I’ve been diggin’ lately is the Victoria’s Secret’s PINK body lotion in Friuty & Bright. A good friend of mine got this for my birthday and I absolutely love this. This lotion has almost like a subtle cotton candy smell to it and feels like cashmere on your skin.

And lastly, I really, really like Calgon’s Brazilian Beauty Paradise Flower & Hibiscus. It’s amazing-it smells very tropically and very much like my favorite Escada perfume, Pacific Paradise.
